Abstract

According to forecasts, the number of women with cancer registered annually by the age of 2045 will be from 9.7 to 15.2 million. In order to scientifically substantiate the state prevention program, a panel of oncoepidemiological indicators of malignant neoplasms incidence among women in the Samara Region has been formed. In order to scientifically substantiate the primary cancer prevention program, a panel of oncoepidemiological trends in the incidence of malignant neoplasms among women in the Samara region was formed. The study included a sample of 75170 malignant neoplasms registered among women in 2012-2022. The structure of incidence, trends in age-specific and "rough" indicators, as well as components of their growth were studied. The results of the study showed that in the Samara region the proportion of 14 malignant neoplasms among women, the fight against which should be focused, among other things, on primary prevention, is very high and amounts to 61.3%.Among them: breast cancer, endometrial cancer, cervical cancer, lung cancer, thyroid cancer, pancreatic cancer, lymphoma, skin melanoma, cancer of the oral cavity, liver cancer, soft tissue cancer, esophagus cancer, small intestine cancer and pharynx cancer. In this regard, specific “targeted” measures to form a healthy lifestyle for women, their balanced nutrition, biochemical, oncoendocrinological and vaccine prophylaxis, as well as the creation of a registry of women with hereditary cancer and their relatives should occupy a significant place in regional cancer control and prevention programs.
