Past Report - 3rd International Webinar on Nursing and Women’s Healthcare
The 3rd International Webinar on Nursing and Women’s Healthcare was held on November 20-21, 2023 according to the Dubai, UAE Time Zone (GMT+4).
The objective of the webinar was to create awareness about evidence-based practice in nursing and midwifery. The webinar was attended by 72 participants from different countries around the globe.
Day 1: Day 1 of the webinar on Nursing and women’s Healthcare started on a fresh note with the moderator Dr. Mirna Fawaz, Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Beirut Arab University, Lebanon who laid the foundation for the event’s success.
The highlights of the webinar were the eponymous lectures, delivered by:
Virginia Thorley; Tomasz Sioda, The University of Queensland, Australia
Ola Mousa, Minia University, Egypt
Fatima Ibrahim Alnashri, Ministry of Health, KSA and other speakers
The questions and doubts of the participants were taken up by the moderator at the end of each session.
Day 2: Day 2 of the webinar started on a fresh note with the moderator Anhar Ali Mansour Alherz, King Faisal General Hospital, KSA.
There was a short recap of the previous days’ sessions and an introduction to the sessions for day 2.
The webinar was embarked with an introduction followed by the series of lectures:
Anton Tutoveanu, University of Technology Sydney, Australia
Mashael Huwaikem, King Faisal University, KSA
Nadya Batia Kagansky, Shmuel Harofe Geriatric Medical Center, Israel
Ana Gabriela Ayala-German, Pediatric Service of the Hospital General Agustín O Horan, Mexico and other speakers.
Finally, the convenor of the webinar presented the concluding remarks and ended the two-day webinar.
